gchappell@specialpartnership.orgGuy is an experienced CEO with extensive board room experience as both a CEO and Trustee . He has worked in both the commercial, voluntary and public sector. He has twenty two years’ experience of working within education strategic leadership & management, policy & practice development, change, resource & administration management. He has a degree in Economics and Politics and a Masters Degree in Leadership & Change Management in Education.
Guy is very committed to ensuring that the Special Partnership Trust creates the best possible opportunities and environment for every learner in Cornwall, to aspire and maximise their potential. He has contributed to developing leading policy and practice in the field of Special Education, and is a proud father of three.
Guy believes the Special Partnership Trust has huge potential and is very excited to be leading such a vibrant, aspirational organisation.
Operations Manager
tallen@specialpartnership.orgTracey has worked in a corporate business environment in London and Hertfordshire for over twenty years and has enjoyed a successful career working in Human Resources, Change Management, Project Management and Process Improvement roles. She became a graduate of the CIPD in 2000 and gained Green Belt Six Sigma certification in 2011. After relocating back to Cornwall, Tracey joined the SPT at its formation in 2016. She is currently a parent governor at Newquay Tretherras, where her son attends school. Tracey believes that every child has the right to the best learning opportunities, talent and resources possible.
Finance and HR Officer
rbenney@specialpartnership.orgRachel joined The Special Partnership Trust as our Finance and HR Officer. With a background in finance and administration Rachel has joined team to provide support to the schools and the Operations Manager. She enjoys problem solving, looking at process improvements and hopes to work with the schools to implement some positive changes within the trust.
Finance and HR Assistant
lfisher@specialpartnership.orgLeah has previously worked for Cornwall Council as a PA/Office Manager in the Chief Executives Department and then in a finance role within the Education Department. After having her children she became a SENCO at her local pre-school before returning to work in finance within a private company. She then focused on human resources and became HR Manager for over 5 years. After working at home part time doing the finances for her husband’s building business for the past 10 years, Leah is enjoying being back in an office and working as part of a team.
Leadership and Governance Support Officer
ljory@specialpartnership.orgLianne has worked in education for 15 years and previously worked as Personal Assistant with the Local Authority. Alongside this role she worked as Clerk to Governors and Company Secretary for Primary and Secondary Schools in Cornwall, both maintained and academies. Lianne joined the Trust in November 2019 and provides support to the Leadership Team, Trustees and Local Governing Bodies.
Assistant Headteacher and Lead Practitioner
awadsworth@specialpartnership.orgAndy has over twenty years of experience in strategic and operational leadership and classroom teaching in special and mainstream schools. He has extensive experience of working with SEMH and SEN children and their families, designing and developing curriculum and assessment, developing policy and practice and driving school improvement.
He is passionate about ensuring that all children and young people have the best possible lifetime opportunities, irrespective of need. Andy believes that the work of the Special Partnership Trust is vital in providing the very best education for all SEN children in Cornwall.
