Curnow School is a community special school catering for learners aged 3-19 years with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.  It currently has 93 learners on roll (commissioned places = 93).  It was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ at its last inspection by Ofsted on 24 January 2013.  The school is based in Redruth and admits learners from Mid, West and North Cornwall.

Doubletrees School is a community special school catering for learners between the ages of 2-19 years with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.  It currently has 92 learners on roll.  It was judged to be ‘Good’ at the last inspection by Ofsted on 17 September 2013.  The school is situated in St Blazey Gate near St Austell and takes in learners from the North and East of Cornwall, ranging from Truro across to the Plymouth/Devon border, including the North coast of Cornwall.

Pencalenick School provides special education for 120 pupils from Year 5 to Year 11 who have been identified through their Education Health Care Plan as being in need of a specialist provision due to their complex learning difficulties, associated anxieties and social needs. Our catchment area is the whole of Cornwall. We are able to offer weekly or short-term boarding places; a feature of our school that extends the range of our education programmes.  The school was judged to be ‘Good’ at the last inspection by Ofsted on 1 July 2015.

Nancealverne School is committed to and passionate about, the learning and progress of their pupils. Staff and governors have high aspirations for the children and young people. They provide a specialist high quality, relevant and balanced education for young people aged 2-19 who have severe, profound and complex learning difficulties. This focuses on individual, personal and academic achievement.  There are currently 80 learners on roll.  Nancealverne was judged to be ‘Good’ at the last inspection by Ofsted on 1 October 2014.  The school is situated in Penzance and takes in learners from the south west of Cornwall.
