Marie Cooke was CEO of Kemeneth Multi Academy Trust after 21 years as Headteacher at Penryn College, a secondary school with an Area Resource Base for young people with learning needs.

She is also a National Leader of Education, a Pupil Premium Reviewer for the National College for Teaching and Leadership and a School Improvement Partner for primary and secondary schools in Cornwall. She is a lead Headteacher Ambassador for The Youth Sports Trust, a national charity which promotes PE and sport in schools.

Marie is a qualified teacher with a degree in English and Theology. She has extensive senior leadership experience and has advised on careers, physical education and sport both regionally and nationally.

Marie has helped lead curriculum development across a local authority and supported initial teacher education programmes. She has particular expertise in leadership and management, English, religious education, drama, physical education and sport, careers and work related learning.
