Our Partners

The Special Partnership Trust is a Trust that is growing steadily and carefully, it is supporting the development of Free Schools, sponsoring schools and providing outreach support, all within the remit of the embedded vision, values and ethos of the Trust.

The Trust recognises the capacity required to effectively implement the significant school development programme that it is delivering including school improvement to ensure that it meets the expectations of our partners and stakeholders.

The Trust has very good working relationships with Local Authorities, Multi Academy Trust networks across Cornwall, Plymouth and Devon as well as national support organisations such as the Confederation of School Trusts, SWALLs and Network of SEN/AP CEOs.

A key partnership is the formal partnership arrangement between Enable Trust and Delta Education Trust across the South West.  The partnership provides capacity in terms of leadership, management and governance, strategic and operational SEN advice and guidance, expertise in specialist curriculum design and pedagogy, and additional resources supporting; professional development, coaching and mentoring, peer to peer view, and capacity in project design, development, project management, and project delivery.

The Trust have an agreement in place to support Magdalen Court School, an Independent Special School in Exeter.  SPT colleagues will provide support, advice and guidance to support the areas of education, safeguarding, finance, behaviour and leadership & governance.
