I have been part of the SPT team for over five years, beginning as a teacher before helping to develop the SIT as part of the central team. Since graduating, I have specialised in SEND teaching with a focus on brain injury and PMLD, working primarily in London before relocating to Cornwall in 2019.

I am also a qualified Makaton Tutor – so you’ll often see me “talking with my hands”! Beyond work, I enjoy walking my dog Bobbin, lifting weights, reading, and writing. I have a particular love for children’s picture books and storytelling, and in 2017 I completed a Master’s degree in Creative Writing and Children’s Literature.

Together with my husband, I run Bran’s Library, a charity set up in memory of our son, which supports NICU and stillbirth families across the South West.
