Ruth has over 25 years’ experience in Special Education, having worked across a wide range of schools and settings with pupils of all ages. She has held three headships in special schools and has also led projects within Local Authorities and Third Sector organisations – always with a clear focus on developing high-quality provision for pupils and their families.

As SEND Director for the Special Partnership Trust, Ruth is dedicated to ensuring that learners across Cornwall and Devon receive the very best support and opportunities to thrive. She brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to driving forward excellence in provision.

Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.
