Local Governing Bodies
The Special Partnership Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees who are accountable to the Department for Education and have overall responsibilities and ultimate decision-making authority for all the work of the Trust, including the establishing and running of the academies operated by the Trust.
The following academies are operated by the Trust:
- Brunel School
- Curnow School
- Doubletrees School
- Nancealverne School
- Mill Water School
- Orchard Manor School
- Castlebridge School
- Bosvena School
- Brunel School
- Cury School
- Pencalenick School (Brannel ARB, Budehaven ARB, Falmouth ARB, Mount Charles ARB)
The Trustees have established a Local Governing Body for each of the Academies and the Local Governing Body have the following delegated functions:
- Pupil and staff wellbeing
- Quality of the school offer
- Pupil progress
- Position of school in the local community
