Lampard Community School aim it so meet the education, social and welfare needs of children who have Education Health Care Plans for their complex profile of needs and who have significant needs related to communication and interaction.

The school caters for 196 pupils aged 4 to 16 and serves the community of North Devon.

Lampard is located in Barnstaple, with easy access to the A361/A39.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone to undertake cleaning of the school and facilities in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times

Safeguarding:

The Special Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of checks and references, including an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake a set daily cleaning programme to ensure high standards of cleanliness through the school
• To operate cleaning machinery and the other equipment appropriately and in a safe manner
• To prepare and clean rooms for meetings
• To report to the Premises Manager or Caretaker any major defects in buildings, equipment and security systems observed in the course of duties.
• To maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials from approved suppliers and ensure cloakrooms are stocked with soap, towels etc.
• To be aware of and adhere to applicable rules, regulations, legislation, and procedures, including Health & Safety, COSHH.
• To be responsible for your own continuing self-development, undertaking Annual Performance Reviews and training as appropriate
• To undertake other duties as appropriate to this post as required
